RidersHere is a brief description of our club:

Cleveland Touring Club is a group of approximately 200 noncompetitive recreational cyclists who ride in the eastern counties of Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga. Our emphasis is on group fun and physical fitness, and our riders include a wide range of ages and riding abilities from the faster riders (all ages), to people in their 20's through 80's that enjoy a variety of paces and styles of riding. We offer single and family memberships and sponsor an organized ride every June (Sunday in June) that attracts 550-600 riders from around Ohio.

We have a comprehensive schedule of Sunday rides. Our Sunday / weekend ride schedule runs from April through October There are usually 2-3 distances for each ride. The short ride splits off the main route early and is generally around 25-30 miles. The longer ride is between 40-50 miles and some rides have a longer extra loop of 55-65 miles. All riders ride at their own pace, and you’ll often be able to find someone else who rides at your speed. Maps are provided.

We also offer weekday evening rides on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at various east-side locations. Tuesday night rides start in Concord Woods Park in the Painesville area (see directions on schedule listing). Wednesday evening rides are at the Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation for the casual and beginning riders and Thursday night rides at the Sanctuary Marsh parking lot at North Chagrin that are very well attended and good for all levels of riders. All rides are loop rides, starting and ending at the same location.

There is always someone to ride with. Just show up, introduce yourself and we'll hook you up with a map, and a nice group of folks who ride to live and live to ride and have fun doing it.
